Salt-Angelina Jolie

This was a pretty good movie. The movie got me guessing and trying to figure out what was going to happen next. Angelina's action in this movie wasn't too bad, I think she is too skinny for this role as a spy. Being scrawny made her action moves more slow and not as cool as when she was Lara Croft Tomb Raider. Overall the characters in this movie went well together and I had fun watching it!

Alice in Wonderland 2010

I liked the graphic and the computer uses of characters; the make-up and costumes were great! Johny Depp did a great job as Mad Hatter and he looked great in it too! Every character was unique and cool, but the storyline itself was kind of lame. I was expecting more excitement and adventures. More of movie for kids to watch and keep them tune.

Revolutionary Road

Although I saw the trailer for this film I was surprised. It didn't go how I thought it would've. I can relate to this film even though the time setting is around the 50's. Even life now a days is still pretty much the same stress and same issues. We live our life doing the same things and being comfortable in it because married couples are doing the same things. We go to work with the same routine and come back home to the same routine. There really is no time to catch up with your spouse or take a break from 'Life'. We Dream a better life, but get comfortable rather than achieve it. I can understand the expectations of marriage life and its struggles. This movie made really think about life and how I can make the best of it.

Slither

This movie is a disappointment. I was not tempted to watch it at all, but was curious enough after seeing it in the store every time I went shopping, to want to see what it was about. The storyline is about evil wreaking havoc on a town and infecting everyone that comes across its path. It was not scary or frightening at all. The whole movie was dull and didn't keep my interest.

Last Chance Harvey

I liked Dustin Hoffman and I felt that he did really good in this movie. I thought that Emma Thompson was the right choice to play the role opposite of Dustin. I felt her acting was good that it felt real in the moments that she was hurting. To me the movie is about love and hope that comes around as a second chance for life. Sometimes a person is so alone that they feel they should be alone and is afraid to take a chance again when love or hope is presented.
I thought this movie was well done, but maybe there could have been added to make it more intense and more heart felt. Overall I liked the movie.

Shutter Island

I liked this movie! When I first saw the previews for Shutter Island I thought it was going to be more of an horror, but it wasn't. The story line was good and went well together. The twist at the end of movie made sense and I thought it was really well done. I liked Leonardo DiCapro and Mark Ruffalo and felt that they played the characters really well. The whole movie had a great cast, everyone played their part good.
This movie makes you feel like you're able to predict what is going to happen, but as soon as you think you have it figured out, it turns around and makes it completely different. I like Shutter Island and can't say enough how much I enjoyed watching it. Although I must say towards the end of the film, once you realized what happened, it is pretty moving and sad. I feel that humans goes through traumas in their life and those that don't handle it well could turn up being insane.

The Karate Kid - 2010

I love this movie! I felt that Jaden Smith did a really good job acting out his part. I loved it especially when he cried and told him mom that he hated living in China. The emotional that he portray seem so real. Jackie Chan did a really good job too, although I thought they try to make him seem older to fit the role of the master, but I felt he should have just stay the same age he is now. That would have work out better when the movie is supposed to be more modern.
I was surprise how Jaden was transitation into his fighting skils. I thought it was clever, cute, and worked well. All the fighting scenes were done nicely even with some of Jackie's style.
The only thing that was kind of odd to me was that the fighting style was supposed to be Karate, but it was Kung-fu instead which just made the title didn't really fit with the whole movie. But overall I liked it a lot and would definitely watched it again. I would recommend this movie to anyone and any age.

Gabriel Iglesias: I'm Not Fat...I'm Fluffy Live from El Paso

This is funny! Really Funny. I was laughing my butt off every minute of the way. This was my first time watching Gabriel and it was worth the whole hour of it. I never heard of him and never realized how popular he is. Any show of Gabriel is worth watching!

The Caretaker-2008

This movie was not scary at all! I love scary movies and this one was not even spooky. It's supposed to be a homecoming party during Halloween and there's nothing in the scenes that looked Halloween or school related. The storyline was predictable and even the ending was lame. I was so disappointed, the cover and plot look so good, but I would not recommend this movie to anyone, even if they're bored and have nothing to do.

Edge Of Darkness

I actually liked this movie. It was a good movie for Mel Gibson to comeback with. It had all the things that it should have: mystery, action, drama, just perfect for Mel Gibson's type of character. I was into the movie the whole time. This is a good action movie with a few violence that may make you jump, but overall recommended to watch.

The Men Who Stare At Goats

I didn't see the trailer for this movie so I had no idea what it was about. The title pretty much sums up what the movie is about. It about military tactic involving the use of psychic as another weapon. I thought George Clooney was pretty funny which made the movie had humor in it, but at the same time it was pretty dull. Not the worst movie I've ever seen, but came pretty close.

My Name is Khan

Shahrukh Khan is one of my Favorite Actor! I enjoyed the character he played in this movie and I felt that he played it really well. The movie was good. I enjoyed it because it was well done. It was better than what I had expected. This movie portrays that one religion is not better than the other, it is only that there are good people who do good things and bad people who do bad things. It all comes down to how people treat each other. This movie has love and romance and humor and sadness altogether! Great Movie! Recommend to watch.

How To Train Your Dragon

This is a must-see for kids and adults! I didn't see the 3-D which I should have because it would've made the movie so much cooler! Everything about this movie was put together very well. You have to watch it to see how good it is. If you like Shrek and Kung Fu Panda (I love these two too!), then you'll absolutely enjoy watching How to Train your Dragon. My kids enjoyed it and so did their grandparents! It's a simple story told in a very cool way.

The Spy Next Door-Jackie Chan

I love Jackie Chan and his movies, but this was not one of them. The villains in the movies had funny accent, I had a hard time understanding what they were saying. The kids were cute, but their acting wasn't all that great. Jackie's stunts seem like a repeat from some of his previous movies. Overall I was expecting more excitement in the movie. I guess this movie is likable enough for little kids to want to watch it. The best part about the movie was the Bloopers at the end of the movie.

The Fourth Kind

I didn't see any commercial for this movie, but watched it because my brother wanted to watch it. I didn't have any idea what the movie was going to be about, but Whoa. This was a freaky movie. It had actual footage which is why it made so much more scarier. Maybe there really are Aliens Out There! I mean, how do normal people just go psycho or loose their mind for no apparent reason? Or how do people just disappear with out a trace? As of now, I don't really know what to say, but the movie was good and it made me look deeper into my faith.

IT- Stephens Kings

This was my first time watching this movie. It wasn't as scary as I thought it would be. I could see how some people are afraid of Clowns, they can get pretty scary with all the make-up and costume. Overall, I guess it wasn't that bad of movie. The kids' acting in it weren't too bad and neither the adults.

Precious

This movie was alright. It was a kind of movie that gave me inspiration to have Hope in the future. To live for Tomorrow. I don't know if that makes sense, but regardless of the situation that a person is in, as long as you're willing to better yourself and work hard then there Hope. There were so many plots or good things to take from this movie. Have faith, courage, and strength to overcome obstacles. The movie was sad and disturbing, but in the end it was good. This would be a good movie for anyone who think they're stuck in a situation and can't get out.

Did You Hear About The Morgans?

Just watched the movie last night. It wasn't the best, but not the worst either. There were some humor, but nothing that really made me laugh my butt off. I am a married therefore I could relate to some of the situations that were presented. This is one of those movies that I'd watch only once and that would be it.

Clash of the Titians

Just watched the new version of Clash of the Titians. I have to say I was totally disappointed in the movie. I saw the 3D, and it wasn't even that good. I could have taken off my 3D glasses, and watched the whole movie without it. The action scenes weren't even that great. The storyline was pretty much laid out, it didn't make me feel anticipated to find out what was going to happen next.
I have seen the old Clash of the Titians and liked it very much. Instead of making a whole new version of the movie, they should just made the old one 3D! That would have much it so much more cooler to watch!

I just talked with my sister about the movie. She bought the DVD for her daughter and she felt pretty much the same as me-disappointed. OMG!

The Princess and the Frog

I just finished watching The Princess and the Frog with my daughter. It was not what I expected. I didn't really think this movie was fit for little kids to watch. My daughter didn't like it either and she's only five. I think this movie could have been done better and with a better storyline. I'm just glad I rented the DVD before buying it.
